Kolkata, Dec. 7 -- A division bench of Calcutta High court is expected to hear a BJP's plea seeking permission to start its proposed "Rath Yatra' or save democracy rally from north Bengal's Cooch Behar district later today after a single bench of the state apex court on Wednesday denied permission upholding the Bengal government's decision.

The hearing is expected to start at around 1230 hours today in the division bench of Justice Biswanath Samadar of Calcutta HC after the BJP's counsels approached him at around 1030 hours seeking a permission for starting Rath Yatra in the afternoon.
