Dhaka, Dec. 6 -- The visiting West Indies decided to bat first in the 50-over practice match against Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) XI at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothishthan (BSKP) ground in Savar on Thursday.

This is the only 50-over practice game for the Caribbean boys before the one-day series that is scheduled to be played form 9 December. The first two games of the three-match series will take place at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium and the remaining one will be held at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
