KATHMANDU, Feb. 18 -- Former British Gurkha soldiers, on Sunday, demanded that the Nepalis serving in the British Army should be provided with the same facilities as that of their British counterparts.
Speaking at a press conference organized at the Reporters Club on Sunday, coordinator of the Gurkha Satyagraha United (GSU) Krishna Bahadur Rai said that the former British Gurkha soldiers from Nepal should get the same benefits and perks that the British soldiers of the same rank enjoy. He added that the ex-British Gurkha soldiers should not be given the benefits on percentage basis.
