Japanese Minister Kono meets PM Oli
KATHMANDU, Jan. 10 -- Visiting Japanese Foreign Minister, Taro Kono paid a courtesy call to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the Prime Minister's residence at Baluwatar.
Kono arrived in Kathmandu yesterday leading an 18 member delegation at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Gyawali. Nepal and Japan signed two Memorandum of Understanding after the ministerial-level meeting held in the capital.
As per the agreement, both the countries have agreed to review to re-establish the direct air service between Nepal and Japan facilitating Nepal Airlines Corporation aircraft at the Osaka and Narita airports.
