BAGLUNG, Feb. 19 -- Four people died in a jeep accident that took place at a remote village Chhisti of Jaimini Rural Municipality-8 on Tuesday evening.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained. Over 25 to 30 people were traveling in the ill-fated jeep with the registration No. Dha 1 Ja 791. Guardians and students were returning home by the jeep after attending an anniversary program of Janakalyan Secondary School, said Bijaya Sharma, a ward chair.

The jeep had skidded off and plunged some 700 meters down the rough road, according to Sharma. The rescue efforts have been hit due to darkness.
