NEW DELHI, Feb. 16 -- A 59-year-old Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) driver was murdered by unidentified assailants at Delhi-Sonipat border. Missing since Wednesday, his body was found near Shani Mandir in Sonipat border, police said.
According to police, the deceased was identified as Preetam Chauhan, a resident of Delhi's Swaroop Nagar.
On Thursday, he was found with a slit in his neck. His family revealed that he was set to retire 6 months prior to his death.
"A case has been registered at Keshav Puram police station," police said, adding that, they are looking into CCTV footages to identity the accused involved.
