Rabat, Jan. 15 -- Several news outlets have speculated that the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) will announce the country's intent to compete for the hosting rights of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN).

While some quoted sources from the Moroccan government saying that Morocco will compete for CAN 2025, others quoted sources from FRMF emphasizing that Morocco is not interested in bidding for the African tournament.
