Manipur, Feb. 15 -- The proscribed United National Liberation Front (UNLF) has clarified that the statement of IGAR South published on February 13 by local dailies which claimed that person involved in the Polo ground blast has been arrested, is false and fabricated information.
A release signed by director, department of publicity, M. Sak-hen stated that Yumlembam Khelen alias Yairembam form Keirao Bitra was a former member of the organisation who had been expelled from the group in 2014. He was expelled from the group as the said person could not follow the disciplines of the organisation, it said. Yairemba has nothing to do with the bomb attack that was carried out on February 7, it added.
