Manipur, Jan. 10 -- Peoples' Resurgence and Justice Alliance (PRJA) urged the two Rajya Sabha state MPs namely Ksh. Bhabananda and Mary Kom to vote for 'No' against Citizenship Amendment Bill, 2016 which will be re-introduced during Parliament's budget session from January 31.

The convener of the political party, Erendro Leichombam in a letter to the two MPs said the bill is 'utterly against the interests of the people of Manipur, a state that you both represent, the bill is non-secular, unjust and goes against the Constitution, but will further destroy Manipur's and Northeast's socio economic predicament.'
