IMPHAL, Jan. 29 -- The Manipur Cricket Association has received ground development machinery and equipment worth around Rs 92 lakhs from BCCI for development of Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium in Imphal East.
The machinery funded under New Area Development Programme started trickling in from December last and the last sets of equipment landed on January 19.
The ground machineries included Toro Greenmaster, Groomer Drive, Back Lapping Machine, Graden Make Gras, Aqua Soaker, Hydrostatic Roller, Hand Roller, Pitch Covers etc. The machinery was assembled at the Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium by Prasant Biswal, who is the area manager (North East), Toro Company.
