Pakistan, Jan. 25 -- Rs.1.85 million fine has been imposed in 37 petrol pumps of eight Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) over violation of cleanliness rules.

The authority's teams inspected various petrol pumps in different parts of the country and imposed Rs. 50,000 fine on seven outlets of Shell Pakistan Limited, two pumps of Attock Petroleum Limited, three of Byco Petroleum Limited, eight from Total Parco Pakistan Limited, ten belonging to Pakistan State Oil, two Askar Oil Services Private Limited, two Hascol Petroleum Limited and three PUMA Energy Limited, a press release said.

The inspection is being carried out in line with thedirections of the Prime Minister's Clean and Green Initiative.
