PATNA, Jan. 11 -- TO ensure the safety of pilgrims during the 352nd birth anniversary celebration of Guru Gobind Singh, the police will deploy deputy superintendent of police (DGP) and inspector rank officers at the Kangan Ghat tent city. Arrangements have been made for 5,000 Sikh pilgrims, who are coming to Patna Sahib to attend Prakash Utsav from Friday and Sunday.

This decision was during a meeting chaired by DGP K S Dwivedi. Senior police officers and office bearers of the Takht Sri Harimandir Ji Prabandhak Committee attended the meeting.
