PATNA, Jan. 8 -- The Congress in Bihar is looking for larger share of seats in the crowded mahagathbandhan, or the grand alliance (GA), to contest in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Weeks after Kaukab Quadri, a working president of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC), disputed the Lalu Prasad-led Rashtriya Janata Dal's 'big brother' claim in the GA, state party chief Madan Mohan Jha on Sunday said Lok Sabha polls would be fought in the state on Congress president Rahul Gandhi's face.

Jha's assertion came a day ahead of the crucial GA meeting scheduled to be held at opposition leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav's residence here on Monday, where RSLP chief Upendra Kushwaha, HAM leader Jitan Ram Manjhi, Loktantrik Janata Dal chief Sharad Yada...
