NOIDA, Nov. 30 -- The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Up-rera) Thursday said it has decided to write to the ministry of housing and urban affairs and approach the Supreme Court to help clear legal hurdles that arise while resolving disputes between builders and buyers.

Up-rera, which was formed under the Rera Act (2016) to address issues in the realty sector, has been unable to reach a solution in some cases due to the intervention of other courts such as the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). Recently, in two cases involving projects in Noida and Greater Noida, NCLT orders have clashed with Rera's, thereby stalling proceedings.
