Mumbai, Feb. 11 -- With the general elections barely three months away, the MNS is increasingly appearing like a rudderless ship, with its rank and file left in a state of utter confusion ('Confusion reigns at MNS with Lok Sabha, state polls nearing', February 10). Having already alienated the sympathies of the BJP leadership by its virulent attacks on the saffron party's top brass, it has been left with only two options if it wants to ensure its political survival - either go solo or accept whatever crumbs the "secular" NCP throws at it.
