Mumbai, Dec. 5 -- The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) finalised a 10-point transitional policy on Monday to facilitate smooth transition to the Development Control and Promotion Regulations (DCPR) 2034 from the old DCR 1991.

This is part of a final transitional policy that the civic body will roll out in phases.

Municipal commissioner Ajoy Mehta said, "As and when difficulties in implementing the DCPR come up or are pointed out to us by architects and developers, BMC will address it with additional circulars as part of transitional policy."

"At the end of it a final consolidated policy will be published, within a month's time," he said.
