JAMMU, Feb. 4 -- Himachal Pradesh chief minister on Sunday said the state government was contemplating to develop theme-based tourist circuits in the state.

While presiding over a meeting of state tourism department along with a private group to discuss the prospect, the chief minister said the government would develop a Buddhist circuit linking state monasteries to boost tourism.

"The state government envisages developing theme-based tourist circuits to enrich tourist experience and enhance employment opportunities," Thakur said. The group officials made presentation of developing Buddhist circuit, cultural parks and Shiv dhams in the state.
