JAMMU, Feb. 2 -- The first technology business incubator of Himachal Pradesh, 'IIT Mandi Catalyst' at the Indian Institute of Technology in Mandi, is set to launch its first startup batch from February 7.

The programme will help startups to convert their ideas into viable businesses.

The first phase of the incubation program will be held for three months and the startups will get funding of up to rs1.5 lakh along with mentoring, networking and training.

A total of 12 startups from different sectors such as augmented reality, artificial intelligence, waste management, agrotech, renewable energy and online services have been shortlisted for the programme. Five out of these 12 teams are from Himachal Pradesh. The teams will relocate and wor...
