SHIMLA, Jan. 11 -- Kashmiri IAS officer Shah Faesal, who resigned from his post, to protest against "unabated killings" in Jammu and Kashmir, sought ideas, especially from the youth of Kashmir, on Thursday, to decide his future course in politics.

Since Faesal announced his resignation on Facebook on Wednesday afternoon, the issue has trended on social media in Kashmir.

He announced that he will join politics; however, political commentators believe that there is likelihood that he may join National Conference.

A prominent English newspaper in the state published a cartoon showing him climbing a bigger chair from a smaller chair using a gravestone as a pedestal with the tag 'Kashmiri lives matter'.
