SRINAGAR, July 2 -- Himachal Pradesh government is likely to map vulnerability of villages of the state to climate change. This was announced at the three-day workshop on climate change, attended by around 40 journalists of various districts of the state, on its concluding day on Sunday.

The area under Yamuna river basin has been covered and at present, the Beas basin is being covered. "The state already has the block-level vulnerability index and we are implementing adaptation projects in three highly- vulnerable blocks of Sirmaur district," said DC Rana, special secretary-cum-director, state department of environment science and technology.
