JAMMU, Feb. 8 -- Congress members walked out from the Himachal Pradesh vidhan sabha over the "delay" in construction of 69 highways, announced for state by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at the Centre. Raising the issue during question hour, leader of opposition Mukesh Agnihotri alleged that BJP government in the state had failed to get the amount, required for the project, sanctioned.

"The government had been making tall claims on the issue, but there is nothing on ground," he said. Dissatisfied with the chief minister's reply, the opposition members raised anti-government slogans and walked out from the house.
