JAMMU, Feb. 11 -- Former Haryana chief minister and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) supremo Om Prakash Chautala, who is out on a three-week furlough from the Tihar jail, on Sunday effected a major organizational reshuffle in the party's district and urban units.
An INLD spokesperson said Chautala has appointed Ferozepur Jhirka MLA Naseem Ahmed as district president of Mewat and Hemraj Jaglan as district president of Panipat.
The party chief also replaced a large number of leaders heading the party in assembly constituencies and towns.
Chautala will address a number of public meetings during a statewide tour, which he will undertake on Monday and conclude on February 20, the spokesperson said.
