NEW DELHI, Dec. 6 -- Researchers from the civil engineering department of Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee have been awarded the IRC National Award under the category of Bihar PWD Medal for Best Paper on Road Research for the paper titled "Effect of modulus of Subgrade Reaction on Thickness of Rigid Pavement -A Case Study" at the Indian Roads Congress' 78th annual session held last month in Bengaluru. This award was presented to Prof. G.D. Ransinchung R.N., Mr. Surender Singh (Research Scholar), Prof. Praveen Kumar and Prof. Manoranjan Parida from IIT Roorkee.
