NEW DELHI, Jan. 1 -- Controversy has dogged the triumph of Sheikh Hasina's Awami League (AL). Allegations of rigging, harassment and intimidation of opposition candidates and voters, arbitrary arrests and suppression of dissent have been levelled against the AL government.
