Sri Lanka, Feb. 18 -- President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday said people should focus on what the aims, objectives and priorities of the next Government are, instead of debating on who should be the next President or the Prime Minister.

The President said this was an election year and the decision that should be made is whether to give power to a far right wing political force or give power to an alliance of patriotic political forces which can properly identify the problems facing the country and can come up with a new and viable programme to propel the nation forward.
