Sri Lanka, Feb. 18 -- Hatton police nabbed three intoxicated students in a tuition class at a temple in Hatton on Saturday.
They are preparing to sit for the GCE O/L Exam this year. They had bought a bottle of arrack from a wine store in Hatton, police said.
According to the police, the students had arrived early at the temple and had consumed the bottle of arrack.
After a while, the students had vomited in the class and the monks who were conducting the classes had informed police about them.
Police found the empty bottle of liquor and a plastic cup in a bag of one of the three students.
Police said the wine store manager who sold the bottle of arrack to the students will be arrested as well. The students will be produced before court...
