SHILLONG, Feb. 19 -- The Budget Session of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly will commence from March 8 and end on March 22.
The Business Advisory Committee finalised the calendar of the Budget Session today and listed 10 working days for the Session. Out of this period, eight days have been allotted to government business and two days to Private Members' business.
Governor Tathagata Roy will address the first day of the forthcoming Budget Session. The budget will be presented on March 22.
