NGO to award cop for saving lives

Amritsar, Aug. 7 -- Sikh For Justice has declared to award an amount of $10000 to the 'super cop' who saved many lives during the recent Gurdwara shooting incident in Wisconsin.

The announcement was made public by the NGO's legal advisor. The police officer came forward to save many people who were in the gurdwara premises when the shooting started. The organisation questioned the claim of the Obama administration of protecting religious minorities. It accused the authorities of being negligent towards protecting the interest of these people. Hundreds of them were targeted after the September 11, 2001 terror strike on America, which left people belonging to religious minorities vulnerable to hate crimes.

The NGO has urged the government to take stern steps in order to protect people from such hate crimes. It showed concern and offered sympathies towards the victims and their families.

Sikh for Justice has decided to form a Trust Fund in order to protect Sikhs from any such episodes of violence in near future. It will approach other North American gurdwaras to form the trust and promote the ideas and principles of Sikhism.
