India, Jan. 5 -- Shares of Tata Motors climbed over 3 per cent in early trade on the Bombay Stock Exchange amid strong outlook as the auto major is lining up a slew of launches and huge investment plans to boost sales. Earlier on Tuesday, the company had launched its new pick-up vehicle Tata Xenon Yodha with price starting at Rs 6.05 lakh.
In line with benchmark indices, shares of company gained as much as 3.35 per cent to hit intra-day high of Rs 502.80 apiece on Bombay Stock Exchange.
In a similar fashion, stocks of company rose 2.92 per cent to Rs 500.85 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 26,806.77, up 173.64 points, or 0.65 per cent, at 10:35 hours....
