India, Feb. 8 -- Tata Motors' wholly owned subsidiary -- Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has reported 10.9% fall in global vehicle sales to 43,733 units in January, hit by tough market conditions in China. The JLR sales of the month stood at 12,799 units in January, a decline of 9% over the same month of 2018. However, Land Rover range sales declined 11.6% in January to 30,934 units.

Tata Motors is India's largest automobile company. Through subsidiaries and associate companies, Tata Motors has operations in the UK, South Korea, Thailand, South Africa and Indonesia. Among them is Jaguar Land Rover, the business comprising the two iconic British brands.
