India, Feb. 15 -- Palestinians jammed into their last refuge in Gaza voiced growing fear on Wednesday that Israel will soon launch a planned assault on the south city of Rafah after talks in Cairo ended inconclusively. The truce talks in the Egyptian capital, involving the US, Israel, Egypt and Qatar, ended without any sign of a breakthrough on Tuesday and no date was publicly set for the next meeting. South Africa urged the UN's top court to place more legal pressure on Israel to halt a threatened offensive against Hamas in Rafah, where more than one million Palestinians are taking refuge from Israeli bombardments elsewhere in Gaza. Pretoria has already made a complaint against Israel in the International Court of Justice (ICJ), alleging that its assault on Gaza amounts to a breach of the Genocide Convention.P11...
