Mumbai, March 7 -- India's blue-chip indexes, Nifty 50 and Sensex hit fresh all-time highs on Wednesday, led by financials, even as the broader small-and mid-caps declined. The Nifty 50 rose 0.53% to 22,474.05, while the BSE Sensex added 0.55% to 74,085.99, marking its first close above 74,000. Both benchmarks lost about 0.6% each during the session before recovering in the final two hours. Among the Sensex firms, Kotak Mahindra Bank rose the most by 2.47%. Axis Bank, Bharti Airtel, Sun Pharma, HCL, Mahindra & Mahindra, Titan and Tata Consultancy Services were among the major gainers.P15...
