MAPUSA, April 25 -- A loaded goods truck plunged off the Guirim overbridge on Wednesday, crashing onto the service road below. One labourer, a native of Jharkhand, was killed, while four others, including the driver, sustained injuries, reported Mapusa police. They were all treated at the North Goa District Hospital in Mapusa and discharged after receiving medical care.

The deceased was identified as Solomon Durbin Hembrom, 21, a resident of Tivim and native of Jharkhand. The driver, Daniram Jantan Murmu, 26, also a resident of Tivim and native of West Bengal, was operating the truck, which bore a Goa registration.
