Goa, Feb. 15 -- A truck container veered off on the National Highway 66 at Porskadem, Pernem, narrowly avoiding a catastrophic collision with an overtaking car. The incident took place at 4 am on Thursday morning, sparking renewed calls from locals for the immediate construction of a flyover to mitigate accidents. Fortunately, no fatalities or injuries were reported in this alarming incident.

According to the truck driver's account, the vehicle was traveling in its designated lane when a car attempted to pass it. In an effort to evade a collision, the truck driver lost control, leading to the veering off of the vehicle on the national highway.
