Goa, April 27 -- Residents of Ponda are up in arms over the lack of door-to-door garbage collection in their area for the past two months. More than 100 residents have complained to the Ponda Municipality, demanding immediate action to collect the accumulated trash, threatening to dump it outside the municipality's office if the issue is not resolved within seven days.

The residents allege that in some areas, there is no door-to-door garbage collection at all. They claim that they pay all their taxes, including garbage collection and sanitation, on time, but are not receiving the promised services.
