PANJIM, May 6 -- Mandhar Lad secured 7.5 points from 8 rounds to emerge champion in the Shri Ratnakar Fatarpekar Memorial All-Goa Open Rapid Chess Tournament 2024 organised by Tiswadi Taluka Chess Association under the auspices of Goa Chess Association and in collaboration with Dr K B Hedgewar High School, Cujira-Bambolim, at Dr K B Hedgewar High School, recently.

Aayush Shirodkar, Asmita Ray and Joshua Telles scored equal 7 points to finish second, third and fourth respectively.

Other prize winners from 5th to 15 are Anish Naik, Vihaan Tari, Arthav Shirodker, Atharva Sawal, Ayush Naik, Kanishk Sawant, Shane Braganca, Hriday Morajkar, Mayuresh Dessai, Sairudra Nagvekar and Aiden Grao.
