PANJIM, April 24 -- Even as Margao MLA Digambar Kamat supported railway double tracking on Tuesday, if he rekindles his memory, then he would remember the protest he had staged in front of South Western Railway (SWR) headquarters at Hubballi, Karnataka, on November 10, 2020, when he was the Leader of Opposition.
While protesting in front of the SWR headquarters, Digambar Kamat had said, "We have come to the General Manager's office (Hubballi) and met the Additional General Manager. We have discussed with him and given him a memorandum and told him that whatever is going on in Goa (double tracking), if you don't stop it, the consequences will be enormous."
