PANJIM, May 7 -- The weather in Goa will be hot and humid on polling day, with the maximum temperature expected to be between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius for the next seven days. The weather will remain partly cloudy from May 7 to 8. However, sporadic rainfall is forecast between May 9 and 12.

There is no possibility of a major change in the maximum temperature in the next five days in the state.

On Monday, Panjim recorded a maximum temperature of 33.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 27 degrees Celsius, while Margao witnessed a maximum of 33.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 27.4 degrees Celsius.

The relative humidity in Panjim was 77 percent and in Margao, it was 84 percent on Monday.
