Goa, May 7 -- The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) has lodged a formal complaint with the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) regarding an alleged violation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) by Siddhesh Naik, during the ongoing election process.

The complaint, bearing reference number GPCC/Compt/2023-24/327, highlights an incident involving Siddesh Naik, son of North Goa Lok Sabha Candidate Shripad Naik. Naik was reportedly observed at the Govt. Primary School in Sao Pedro, Ribandar, Goa, which falls under the 11-Panaji Assembly Segment. He was purportedly donning a T-shirt emblazoned with the slogan "MODI ONCE MORE 2024," a reference to Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
