PONDA, April 30 -- The mud dumped at Opa Khandepar junction has become a cause of worry for the residents as they demanded that the same be cleared or else it would lead to flooding during monsoon.

According to locals, the mud was dumped by the side of the service road of the National Highway while carrying out the widening work.

According to Sandeep Parkar, a resident, two to three houses located at Opa Khandepar junction often face flood-like situation due lack of proper drainage facility, but recently the NH officials constructed a cross culvert on NH to drain the water.
