PANJIM, April 30 -- Four out of 16 candidates contesting Lok Sabha elections in the State, are having criminal cases registered against them and one of the candidates is having a serious criminal case registered against him, Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) said on Monday.

According to ADR State coordinator Bhasker Assoldekar, six of the candidates, out of the 16, are crorepatis while Rs 87.71 crore is the average assets of the candidates.

One candidate of the Congress has a criminal case registered against him, 2 candidates of Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) have criminal cases while one independent candidate is having a criminal case registered against him, the ADR said.
