After Preity Zinta, Parthiv Patel hits back at 'fake' reports spread by Rohit Sharma fans online
Mumbai, May 1 -- Just a few weeks ago, Punjab Kings (PBKS) co-owner Preity Zinta had to come online and post about how the news regarding her desire for Rohit Sharma to become PBKS skipper was fake. While it was learned that a Rohit Sharma fan spread the news, now another fan has posted 'fake' news on X, this time targeting former Indian cricketer Parthiv Patel.
In the now-deleted post and page, the Rohit Sharma fan on X (formerly known as Twitter) wrote, "Mumbai Indians were favourites with such a strong team, and still, they are out of the tournament. This is what happens when you try to change things quickly." The quote was shared with a picture of Parthiv Patel and MI skipper Hardik Pandya.
