Kathmandu, Feb. 27 -- Namibia defeated Nepal by 20 runs in the inaugural match of the Nepal Tri-Nation T20I Series being played at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Tuesday.

Chasing a commendable 207-run target set by the visitors, the Rhinos were bundled out for 186 runs in 18.5 overs.

Nepal's opening pair-Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh-were out for a golden duck and six runs respectively.

However, skipper Rohit Paudel and Kushal Malla steadied the innings for Nepal. Paudel was caught by Jan Frylinck off a delivery by Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton at 42 runs in 7.3 overs as Malla was sent back to the pavilion by Bernard Scholtz in 9.5 overs at 32 runs.
