Nepal, Feb. 10 -- Canada have posted a target of 286 runs against Nepal in the second match of a three-match bilateral one-day international series being played at the TU Cricket Ground on Saturday.

Opting to bat first after winning the toss, the visitors scored 285 runs in the stipulated 50 overs on the back of a half-century by opener Aaron Johnson.

Johnson and his opening partner Navneet Dhaliwal brought a 94-run partnership for the first-wicket giving Canada a strong start.

The partnership came to an end after Nepal's Akash Chand had Dhaliwal (46) caught by Aasif Sheikh in 18.2 overs.

Johnson muscled 10 hits to the fences and two sixes to put up 65 runs off 62 balls before being run out in 22.2 overs.
