Jammu, Feb. 8 -- National Conference has exhibited its authority within the INDIA alliance by staking claim on three Kashmir Lok Sabha seats and has stated that talks within the INDIA bloc would be held over the seats that were won by the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2019 elections.

"There has been no talk on seat-sharing (within the INDIA alliance) so far. Congress is ready for the talks and they want us to talk to them.

In the coming days, there will be a discussion, especially about the three seats (Jammu, Udhampur and Ladakh) which are with the BJP.

There is no point over holding talks on the seats (Srinagar, Anantnag and Baramulla) which are with the INDIA alliance," National Conference vice-president Omar Abdullah told reporters.
