JAMMU, March 22 -- On the occasion of International Day of Forests on 21-03-2023, Deptt. Of Environmental Sciences and Eco club of Govt. GLDM Degree College, Hiranagar organized Plantation drive under the patronage of Dr. Pragya Khanna, Princpal GDC Hiranagar. In 2024, the theme of International Day of forests is "Forests and Innovation: New solutions for a better world." A total number of sixty students participated very enthusiastically and planted various trees like Guava, bottlebrush, eucalyptus, mango, lemon etc. as well as various seasonal flowering plants.
