Jammu, Feb. 8 -- Exactly a month after his "Ghar Wapsi" in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) the former Deputy Chief Minister Muzaffar Hussain Beigh extended an olive branch to the Union Government.
Beigh, who time and again praised the Prime Minister on different occasions, seized the opportunity of the passing of the Bill in the Parliament to grant Scheduled Tribe (ST) status to the Paharis.
Earlier Beigh has praised the Prime Minister a number of times but it is the first time after rejoining the PDP he has praised the Union Government, especially Prime Minister and Home Minister.
