Dhaka, April 26 -- When, on the night of 13-14 April 2024, Iran retaliated against an Israeli air strike at its Diplomatic Compound in Damascus that killed several senior Iranian officials two weeks earlier, it was a text-book example of an act of deterrence in modern warfighting.
