Sri Lanka, April 29 -- World history reminds us that the politically motivated murder of Julius Caesar by his trusted senator Marcus Brutus created the focus on having bodyguards. Caesar was stabbed 23 times. Even in ancient Sri Lanka our kings had guards for 'anga araksha' - for personal safety. Globally some VIPs are often the target of extremist organisations, militant terrorist groups, disgruntled individuals, mentally disturbed individuals, etc. These organisations are likely to be sources of security threat.
