Sri Lanka, March 20 -- Six Government Ministers and MPs who are currently on overseas visits have been asked to return Sri Lanka before the vote on the No Confidence Motion against Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardene scheduled to be held on March 21.

Chief Government Whip and Minister Prasanna Ranathunga has instructed Secretary to the Chief Government Whip Jagath Perera to immediately contact the Ministers and MPs who are currently abroad and request them to return to Sri Lanka.

The Ministers and MPs who are on overseas visits are Labour and Foreign Employment Minister Manusha Nanayakkara (Israel), Transport, Highways and Mass Media Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardhana (Washington), MP Madhura Vithanage, MP Anura Priyadarshana Yapa (Canada)...
